Balika Vadhu 2: Shivangi Joshi has said goodbye to the famous TV serial 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai'. Shivangi, who became popular with the character of Naira in the show, is now ready to play a new role. The actress is going to play the role of Badi Anandi in the second season of Balika Vadhu.
The second season of Balika Vadhu started on 9th August and the show is going to take a leap soon. Riddhi Nayak Shukla, Supriya Shukla, Ketki Dave and Anshul Trivedi are seen playing important roles in the show. Now according to a report in Times of India, Shivangi Joshi has been approached for the role of Badi Anandi.
As per a source close to the show, “After considering several names to play the role of Badi Anandi, the makers picked Shivangi to play the role. It is the second season of a popular show and we are leaving no stone unturned to rope in the right cast. Shivangi is a good actress and fits perfectly.
Further, this source said that we are hopeful that she will come with the cast on the sets and start shooting. The time leap is going to start by the end of November or the beginning of next month. At the same time, no statement has come out from the side of the actress regarding this. Please tell that child actors Shreya Patel and Vansh Sayani are currently seen playing characters in the show.
Significantly, Shivangi Joshi was seen having fun in Dubai for some time after leaving the show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.
