Ind vs NZ 1st Test LIVE: India looking for wickets, Will Young hits half-century

India vs New Zealand 1st Test LIVE: The first match of the two-match Test series is being played between India and New Zealand at the Greenpark Stadium in Kanpur. Today is the second day of the first test match i.e. Friday 26 November. India scored 345 runs in their first innings for the loss of all wickets, which included a century from Shreyas Iyer, half-centuries from Shubman Gill and Ravindra Jadeja. In response to 345 runs, New Zealand's team added 55 runs in 21 overs without losing a wicket in their first innings. Openers Tom Latham and Will Young showed great batting.

India's first innings, Shreyas Iyer's century

India ended the first day at 258/4, losing their fifth wicket early on the second day as Ravindra Jadeja failed to add a single run to his overnight score. Tim Southee bowled Jadeja. Shreyas Iyer completed his century in 157 balls in his debut match. India lost their second and sixth wicket of the day as Wriddhiman Saha, who scored a run, was caught by Tom Blundell off Tim Southee.

Team India got the seventh blow in the form of Shreyas Iyer, who scored 105 runs in 171 balls, was caught by Will Young on the ball of Tim Southee. The eighth wicket fell for India in the form of Axar Patel, who became the victim of Tim Southee after scoring 3 runs. New Zealand's ninth success was given by Ejaz Patel when he bowled R Ashwin on a personal score of 38 runs.
