In recent days, Rs 273 of subsidy has been deposited in the accounts of LPG Booking people. This amount is being transferred under the Direct Benefit Scheme. Let us tell you that the price of LPG has increased rapidly in recent months. The government had completely abolished the subsidy, although a nominal amount was being deposited. It is being said that the central government has taken this decision in view of the assembly elections to be held in five states next year. That is, the government has snatched this issue from the hands of the opposition.
According to media reports, at some places LPG gas consumers are being given a subsidy of Rs 79.26 per cylinder, although for some beneficiaries the subsidy per cylinder has been given as Rs 158.52 or Rs 237.78. It is being said that the government reviews the prices of LPG at the beginning of every month and its effect can be seen in the review to be held in December.
With the introduction of LPG subsidy, there is also good news regarding the prices of petrol and diesel. Petrol and diesel prices have not increased for the past several days, while now it is being said that their prices may come down soon. Actually, the central government has decided to send 50 thousand barrels of emergency reserve oil to the market. It is being told that after this decision, the prices of petrol and diesel can be cut. Five rupees have already been cut by the government on petrol.
