So Indian Union Muslim League leader ET Mohammad Bashir brought an adjournment motion to draw the attention of the House to the eviction drive being carried out in Assam by branding people as 'infiltrators'.
At the same time, CPM MP AM Arif presented an adjournment motion regarding the Lakhimpur Kheri violence.
On October 3, violence broke out in Tikunia village of Lakhimpur Kheri in which eight people, including four farmers, were killed. A video of this incident had surfaced in which the protesting farmers were trampled by a Thar cart. Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra 'Teni''s son Ashish Mishra 'Teni' is accused in this case and is currently in jail.
The opposition has been continuously demanding the resignation of Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra 'Teni'.
Adjournment motion is introduced in Lok Sabha to draw the attention of the House to any matter of public importance.
