Australian opener David Warner, New Zealand pacer Tim Southee and Pakistan's Abid Ali have been nominated for the 'ICC Player of the Month'. All three have been selected on the basis of their performance in the recently concluded T20 World Cup 2021 in the UAE and the subsequent Test series.

Australia's opener David Warner was adjudged 'Player of the Tournament' for his stellar performance in the T20 World Cup. He scored two important half-centuries and 49 runs in a match in the World Cup held in November.
