The share of the population in the below 15 years age group has come down from 34.9 per cent in 2019-2021 to 26.5 per cent.
Fertility rate has decreased. The average number of children giving birth in a woman's lifetime has come down from 2.2 to 2.
Contraceptive use has increased from 54 per cent to 67 per cent.
