Smriti Mandhana created havoc in Australia, scored runs at a strike rate of more than 150, made this record

Smriti Mandhana Scores Century: Smriti Mandhana, the opener of India's women's cricket team, created history by scoring a century in the Women's Big Bash League match. Sydney Thunder's Smriti Mandhana scored an unbeaten 114 off 64 balls in the match against Melbourne Renegades. He scored runs at a strike rate of 178.12. Mandhana hit 14 fours and 3 sixes in her innings.


He completed his century in just 57 balls. Mandhana's fierce form was seen in the 18th over of the innings. He completed his century by scoring 4,6,4,6,2 runs in the first five balls. Mandhana has become the first player from India to score a century in this tournament.

Became the second player to do so

Smriti Mandhana has become the second player in Australia to score a century in three formats. Before him, Alyssa Perry of Australia did this feat. Mandhana had earlier scored 127 runs in 216 balls in Day-Night Test in 2021 and 102 runs in 109 balls in ODIs in 2016.

Mandhana scored 102 runs in 109 balls in the 2016 ODI match and 127 in 216 balls in the 2021 Test match and now 114 runs in 64 balls. However, even after Smriti Mandhana's innings, the Sydney team could not win. In reply to Melbourne's 175, Sydney could only manage 171 runs in the allotted 20 overs for the loss of 2 wickets.
